Why Golf Coaching Will Never Be the Same Again

If you are teaching golf today and still relying solely on what you can see with your own eyes, there is an important question you should ask yourself:

I believe we are currently experiencing the biggest technological transformation the golf industry has ever seen.

Many golf professionals still believe that experience alone allows them to identify every movement within a golf swing.

The reality is different.

A doctor does not simply look at a patient and make a diagnosis based solely on observation.

Doctors use advanced technologies such as MRI scans, CT scans, ultrasound imaging, and digital diagnostic systems to identify the true source of a problem.

They then explain the findings to the patient and develop a treatment plan.

Modern golf coaching is moving in exactly the same direction.

• Technology shows us what is happening.
• The coach explains why it is happening.
• Together, the coach and player develop the solution.

That is why I believe every golf professional who wants to remain successful in the years ahead should begin learning about biomechanics, kinematics, ground reaction forces, artificial intelligence, and modern 3D motion analysis.

The question is no longer whether these technologies are coming.

• They are already here.

The only question is whether we are prepared to learn how to use them.
